Transfer Data from SQL Server to Oracle Database

Hi guys in this Blog I will discuss How to Transfer Data from any Table/View in (SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle,..... etc) to Another DB.

First: Download ETL Tools, I will use (Talend Open Studio).

 Second: Open Talend and Setup the Connection of both the Two DB like (SQL Server & Oracle).

1- open metadata \ connections \ New Connection

2- Create Two DB connections DB1 (SQL Server) & DB2 (Oracle)

 

3- Create new query for your need data from DB1

 

 

4- save your query 

 

 

5- Retrieve Schema for DB2

 

. 

 

6- Select your table to save the DB1 query in this table

 

 

 

7- Create new job

 

 

8-  Drag & drop DB1\Saved query into new job as (tDBInput)

 

 

9- Drag & drop DB2\your table into the job as (tDBOutput)

 

10- Drag & drop from palette component (tMap) 

 

 

11- right click on DB1\your query and select row\main

 

12- right click on tMap and select row\New Output

 

 

13- finally your job must be as the below figure

 

 

14- Click run to proceed

 

 

15- last point, if your data move succeed. you can export your job as bat file & create (Windows Task Scheduler) to do this job as daily automatic.
